Recent History

Over the last three years I have worked as a Sales Engineer and Senior Solutions Consultant assisting the Sales Team at HANDD Business Solutions offering vendor agnostic advice to deliver business outcomes.

 

Over the years, I have developed skills with vintage film photography, video editing, audio recording, and social media marketing skills.

 

I also have a regular community internet radio show with The Hub at iLive Radio, based in Reading, which has complemented and developed my presentation and demonstration delivery skills.

 

Career History

 

Sales Engineer - HANDD Business Solutions 2021 –

 

Working in a data centric cyber security company. Specializing in data discovery and classification to help customers protect and control sensitive information and meet regulatory compliance.

 

Providing  technical assistance to the sales team, to showcase software tools, advise customers about how products could fit in their environments. And provide vendor agnostic advice to meet their business outcomes.

 

I am responsible for  delivering product demonstrations, delivering proof of concept to customers, and writing statements of work.

 

Each week, I deliver an update presentation with relevant IT news over the last seven days, software product updates, and create an open discussion forum for the upcoming week.


 

Technical Consultant - Micro Focus 2007 – 2019

 

Working as a Technical Consultant on customer locations working with Project management, and Business Service Management software. This role provided a firm grounding in business process, planning, revenue generation, and compliance:

 

Server and application monitoring

  • Installing  and configured server monitoring software

  • Installing and configuring reporting software

  • Writing  documentation

  • Undertook testing

 

Project and Portfolio Management
